Description

Hey guys!

It looks as though I've hit 700 Watcher's sometime during the night!  A big thank you goes to daveme2014.deviantart.com/ for being the one!

Thanks once again to everyone that has made this possible, I'm grateful for your continued support and  hope that I continue to be worthy of it.

I was looking through some old boxes in the attic the other day and found some old dusty photograph albums. Unfortunately most were empty,
all except one. This one had a few photographs in it and some old letters tucked away in the back.

These photographs and letters are all from a young woman called Shannon Molloy, an Irish lass living in the US during the time of World War II,
to her boyfriend Adam. From what I can tell he was a pilot based out of Reese AFB in Texas. He got sent over to Great Britain early in 1944.

More to come as I clean up the photographs and make the letters presentable.

As always, your work continues to inspire. The amount of realism and depth you add to your images is just phenomenal. From the cats in the drawers (and everywhere else), the plaques, the other random knick-knacks around, it's like a real room.

The post work you've done is fantastic. It makes it feel very much like an old and somewhat damaged photograph would. Whether it's from the render or the post work, the beams of light coming in give the scene a depth, and that's awesome.

The only critical thing I can find is with respect to her right foot/shoe. It's floating just a bit - it's possible her pose could support that, but it seems more likely that she'd have both feet on the ground. The other thing that I see about that foot is that it looks like it may have picked up an errant pose or shaping along the way. Where the toes bend looks a bit off, like the shoe is following the foot too closely.

As always, when writing a critique, I dig and dig to find something (anything!) besides "OMG Awesome!" and, this one certainly took me some time to find it. Great job, and I look forward to more from this set.

PS - the letters were really well done too! Just a fantastic setting!
